Nissan opens seven dealerships in India

Nissan Motor India today announced the opening of seven new dealerships across the country in an endeavour to achieve maximum customer outreach, in line with its growth strategy and long-term commitment to India.

Nissan dealer network establishes itself in the cities of Karnal, Agra, Goa, Kolhapur, Vadodara, Secunderabad & West Delhi respectively.

With these outlets Nissan currently has 30 dealerships operational across the country. It marks the automotive major’s expansion strategy to reach commercial coverage in more than 70% of the national territory. Currently 14 states of the country have Nissan dealerships.
 
Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD & CEO, Nissan Motor India said, “We are delighted to bring Nissan to more customers in India through our dealerships in the States of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and in Delhi. In the process of establishing the Nissan Brand in India, the company- in partnership with Hover Automotive India, its marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development arm - is rapidly preparing its dealer network structure to support the up-coming growth in the country. The company today has 30 dealers operational across the country and aims to have more than 100 dealers by 2013.
