American aircraft manufacturer Boeing today said that Air India has not so far cancelled or deferred an airplane order.
It also said that Jet Airways, however, has postponed delivery for seven jets.
"There have been no talks with Air India so far for cancellation or deferment for any aircraft. These are difficult times but no discussion on deferral as yet with Air India," Boeing India President Dinesh Keskar told reporters here.
Keskar, however, indicated that talks for deferral with Air India could be held in future. "But no discussions for cancellation of order for aircraft is going on," he said.
Jet Airways has deferred delivery of two Boeing-777 and five 737 by 2-3 years, he added.
Boeing will deliver in the current fiscal a total of nine aircraft to Indian carriers. This will comprise five Boeing-777 to Air India, three Boeing-737 to Air India Express and one Boeing-737 to Jet Airways.
