NorthgateArinso, a UK-based human resources outsourcing and payroll business process outsourcing services provider, is planning to grow its India workforce by 25 per cent during the current financial year, according to vice president (global operations of delivery centres) Monica Luzon.

The privately-held company, which follows a May-to-April financial year, has over 8,500 employees globally who are dedicated to delivery of HR consulting (business consulting and systems integration), HR outsourcing (HR BPO and application maintenance) and HR technology (HR software products).

NorthgateArinso established its India operations in 2005 and is operating out of two global delivery centres located in Hyderabad and Kochi. Of its 1,300 employees in the country, about 375 are based out of the Hyderabad centre.

“With more than 15 per cent of our global employee strength located in these two centres, India is our strategic location to address the growing global demand. Graduate trainee programme initiated by the company yielded good results in the recent past. Capitalising on this success, we plan to engage with universities and colleges in Tier I and II cities to attract talent,” Luzon said.

To strengthen the leadership and enhance delivery excellence, NorthgateArinso recently appointed Raghuram Janapareddy, who has over 26 years of experience including 16 years with ERP solutions provider SAP, to lead the Hyderabad centre, she added.
