Educomp Tele-Education Network for CA prep (ETEN CA), a division of IndiaCan Education Pvt Ltd, is planning to open 70-75 VSAT centres across south India, including 15 in the state, at an investment of Rs 10 crore by December 2011.
ETEN CA on Friday launched its first centre in the south at Hyderabad. The course, offering 19 subjects, will be conducted in three levels in a span of 36 months from June 2010. The fee for each subject is Rs 5,000.
“The programme will allow CA aspirants in Hyderabad access to high quality live coaching through satellite technology and by using minimal educational infrastructure,” Puneet Jhingan, senior vice-president, Educomp Vocational Education Pvt Ltd, told mediapersons here.
ETEN CA has set up over 100 centres across north, central and eastern India. The main studio in Chennai will cater to the entire southern zone.
IndiaCan is a 50:50 joint venture between Delhi-based technology-driven education company Educomp Solutions Limited and global education services provider Pearson.
