National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) today reported a marginal decline (2%) in net profit at Rs 5,706 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 when compared with Rs 5,807 crore in FY05.According to an official release issued today, total income increased to Rs 25,990 crore from Rs 22,530 crore in FY05.
