App-based taxi aggregator Ola Cabs will soon go only on mobile as nearly 99% of its bookings come from mobile devices.
Recently, Ola updated its app to make it work even on 2G networks, enabling users with basic data connections to access its services.

Pranay Jivrajka, Chief Operating Officer at Ola Cabs, said in a statement: “With 99% of our bookings coming through apps, it is clear that our users prefer the seamless app-experience to any other mode of booking. This will allow us to deliver a consistent one-touch booking experience as well as improved ride experience across all aspects like navigation, payments, safety and feedback."
