ONGC Videsh & Jogmec sign exploring pact

 According to an official release issued by ONGC today,  the MoU signed by the two companies provides a framework for accelerating and widening co-operation in the hydrocarbon sector including unconventional fuels.

Jogmec and OVL will work together to exchange information and evaluate specific projects under the MoU.

 Subir Raha, chairman of ONGC, said the alliance will help promote energy security of the two countries which are net importers of oil. 

Isao Kakefuda, president of Jogmec, said the tie-up will help provide Japanese private companies with a good business environment for their exploration and production activities in the hydrocarbon sector.
