Opple Lighting forays into Pune market

The company targets a cumulative turnover of Rs 450 cr from the country in the next five years

Chinese lighting brand Opple Lighting, has forayed into Pune market with the roll out of its distribution and retail partnerships, as it expands its footprint and product portfolio in the country.

Naveen Saxena, country head, Opple Lighting India said, "With an initial investment of Rs 60 crore, Opple will roll out 30 large format exclusive brand stores across the top 30 cities in India in next three years. We are targeting a cumulative turnover of Rs 450 crore from the country in the next five years, and expects a revenue share of 27 per cent from the western region. We have already identified Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Chandigarh - cities where we will open exclusive franchise stores shortly."
