Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has received a tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for memantine tablets.
According to a release issued by Orchid to the BSE today, the company has received US FDA nod for its abbreviated New Drug Application Memantine Hydrochloride tablets in 5 mg and 10mg strengths.
The stock meanwhile has gained 2% at Rs 190. Around 656,835 shares have changed hands at the counter on the NSE.
