K Raghavendra Rao, the promoter of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, has purchased 2,75,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each of the company from the secondary market.According to a release issued by the company to the NSE today, Raghavendra Rao now holds 65,55,173 equity shares constituting 10.77% of the total paid-up capital of the company.
