Hyderabad-based Terra Firma Projects, a farm-to-table organic food products start-up, is in the process of adding 8,000 farmers to its existing network of 2,000 certified organic farmers by the end of 2016, according to its chief executive officer Likitha Bhanu.

Founded in 2013, Terra Firma is dedicated to developing and offering natural food alternatives. It produces organic food harvested from its organic farms and partner organic farming groups spread across India.

Launching its first ready-to-cook gluten-free organic quinoa upma mix product under the brand Terra Greens on Wednesday, Bhanu said the company was currently offering eight organic ready-to-cook products in 300 partner stores across 16 states.

"We have a good presence in metros. We are now steadily penetrating Tier-II cities, where organic food is increasing its popularity," she said, adding that the company was expecting to garner revenues of Rs 15 crore this year.
