Orra, one of the finest diamond jewellery retail chains in the country, plans to add 7 to 8 exclusive retail stores every year from next fiscal. Orra is a part of world's largest diamond manufacturing company Rosyblue, which has a turnover of $ 1.8 billion.
Orra currently has 30 company owned showrooms in various cities of India, which include Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai etc. "Recently, the company opened its first flagship store in Delhi. Today we launched a new store in Ahmedabad, the second largest by the company in India. We will open seven to ten showroons from next financial years," said Vijay Jain, CEO, Orra, who was here in Ahmedabad to inaugurate company's store in the city.
Orra also has one store in Surat and it plans to add one more store in Rajkot next month. The company has to invest around Rs 4-5 crore for setting up a new store.
According to him demand for branded diamond jewellery in India is picking up. Branded diamond jewellery account for 8-10 per cent of the total Indian jewellery market which is estimated to be Rs 90,000 crore.
