Pantaloons to open 12-15 stores in the current fiscal

Currently, the retailer has 71 stores across 35 cities and towns

Lifestyle retail brand-Pantaloons is planning to open 12-15 new stores across India in the current fiscal year with an investment of Rs. 150-200 crore. Currently, the retailer has 71 stores across 35 cities and towns.

This was informed by Shital Mehta, CEO, Pantaloons Fashion & Retail Ltd, who was in the city to inaugurate its new store in Chandigarh. He said that the opening of the first flagship store in Chandigarh marks the emerging foothold of Pantaloons in northern India, which is an important region for the national retail brand. In northern region, the company is planning to open stores in Mohali, Amritsar and Jammu. It may be recalled that Pantaloons offers a collection of more than a 100 prestigious brands and provides complete one-stop shopping experience to its buyers.
