Paramount was already operating 52 flights daily covering Chennai, Coimbatore,Madurai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Kochi and Visakhapatnam, he told reporters.
As of now the fleet comprised five new generation EMBRAER 170/175 aircraft and by July end, two more similar aircraft would be put into operation,he said.
Besides including Tiruchirappalli as a destination, Mangalore and Kozhikode would be included by the first quarter of 2009. By 2009-end, Paramount would consolidate Southern India with substantial market share and soon after would embark on covering western India.By 2010-end, Paramount would operate services to northern and north eastern territories of the country. As of now it had no plans to operate overseas services, he said.
