Paras Pharma to use IPL to promote Moov and Set Wet brands

Paras Pharmaceuticals Ltd, will use the Indian Premier League 2010(IPL-2010) platform to promote two of its leading brands, 'Moov' and 'Set Wet', and has tied up with IPL 2008 champions, Rajasthan Royals for joint promotional activity.

Paras Pharmaceuticals over-the counter (OTC) and personal care portfolio includes popular brands like Moov, ItchGuard, Krack, Livon, DermiCool, Recova, , D’Cold, Ring Guard, Set Wet among others.

MOOV, the flagship brand for Paras Pharma will be the “Official Fitness Partner” for the Rajasthan Royals team while Set Wet will be the “Official Hair Styling Partner” for the Rajasthan Royals players.The 'Set Wet' logo will be sported by the team cheerleaders who will be cheering for the team throughout the season and the team jerseys would carry 'Moov' branding.

Rajasthan Royals is co-owned by the Emerging Media Group and Shilpa Shetty along with her husband Raj Kundra. Announcing this tie up, S Raghunandan, chief executive officer of Paras Pharmaceuticals said “Cricket is the pulse of the nation and IPL provides marketers a unique opportunity to reach out to the masses across geographies and languages.”

Paras has recently launched another brand of Moov, 'Moov Neck & Shoulder'.

Rajasthan Royals chief marketing officer Raghu Iyer said, “We are delighted with this association as Paras Pharma is known as one of the most innovative marketers in India and our team is one of the most innovative and charismatic teams in the IPL.”
