The company's total income also fell 49 per cent at Rs 118.93 crore for the quarter ending March 2008 as compared to Rs 236.66 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's net for the whole year ending March 31,2008 fell by 6.56 per cent at Rs 146.9 crore as compared to Rs 157.22 crore in the previous financial year. However, the company posted a 10 per cent rise in its total income for the year ending March 31, 2008 at Rs 355.6 crore as compared to Rs. 320.91 crore it posted in previous financial year.
The company announced a dividend of 40 per cent for the year.
