Pharma company Pfizer Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 42.45 crore for three months ended February 28.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 39.01 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 202.61 crore for the three months ended February 28, while the same was Rs 185.97 crore a year ago, Pfizer said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company had a profit of Rs 136.88 crore for the year ended 2009, it said. Shares of Pfizer were trading at Rs 962 on BSE, up 0.11 per cent from its previous close.
Figures of the latest period are not comparable with figures of the previous year due to merger of Duchem Laboratories Ltd with the company.
