Multinational pharmaceutical company Pfizer India and World Medical Association, a confederation of medical associations from 80 countries, on Friday launched ‘Speaking Book’ for clinical trial participation.
The book is an awareness building tool and is available in Telugu and Hindi apart from English. It has a recorded soundtrack, which reads out the page in the local language. The book, to be given free of cost, would focus on a single subject- a disease or a healthcare assistance programme, said company managing director Kewal Handa.
Pfizer India has made clinical research investments of $ 5.66 million (Rs 27.7 crore) in India.
