Pfizer today reported a 14% increase in net profit at Rs 28.27 crore for its first quarter ended February 28, 2007(Q1FY07), as compared to Rs 24.77 crore in Q1FY06.Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 155 crore, up from Rs 145.9 crore net Q1FY06. Pfizer had net sales of Rs 662 crore for the year ended 30th November 2006.During Q1FY07, the company received revenues of Rs 132.8 crore from its pharmaceuticals business including services, Rs 16.86 crore from the animal health division and Rs 5.21 crore from clinical services.Pfizer said it sold its Chandigarh property, plants and other assets for a total consideration of Rs 278 crore to CSJ Infrastructure on 16th March 2007.
