Pipavav, L&T consortium gets $170 mn order from ONGC

The orderbook of the company with this order stands at Rs 12,000 crore

Pipavav Defence and Offshore Engineering Company today said its consortium with Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has received an order worth $170 million (Rs 1,152 crore) from state-run energy major ONGC.

"The contract includes survey, design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, jack-up, hook-up, testing, certification/inspections, pre-commissioning, start-up and commissioning of entire facilities...," it said in a BSE filing.

With this, the orderbook of the company stands at Rs 12,000 crore.

Pipavav's shares were trading at Rs 55.10 apiece during the afternoon trade in the BSE.
