Bharti Airtel launched its Platinum 3G network in Chhattisgarh with an aim to speed up and widen its footprint in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
The company today launched the service for Raipur and Bilaspur -- two prominent cities of Chhattisgarh. Within two or three months, it would be expanded across the state with a plan to tap maximum business and customers.
“The Platinum 3G network would help in the expansion of foot print among the youths and rural pockets,” Vir Inder Nath, Bharti Airtel Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, said. The service would help in dominating the data market in both the states, he said, adding that youths and rural pockets would be the focus areas.
The company had covered over 80% areas in both Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to open rural service centre that would facilitate better services to the villagers, Nath added.

The new infinity “combo” plans has been designed for the new age mobile users. Nath said it offered a highly attractive combination of Airtel Platinum 3G, unlimited voice benefits, maximum SMSs and an excess to unlimited entertainment.
The Platinum 3G is available at 3G tariffs and offered a superior network experience for customers. Additionally, it would help optimise the backend engagement between the network and mobile devises that would allow customers to extend battery life on the phones.
