The 5th edition of Plexpo India 2010, has managed to generate business worth Rs 450 crore.
The number of business visitors at the event crossed one lakh and stood at 1.08 lakh against target of 36,000 apart from 4,500 students from engineering and management colleges who also visited the exhibition. Jigish Doshi, chairman, Plexpo India 2010, said, “The number of business visitors, which went far beyond all expectations and most of the exhibitors have committed to book double space in the next edition".
The four-day exhibition, which concluded on Tuesday, saw participation from 400 exhibitors from 11 countries and delegates from 20 countries also took part in various programmes and seminars organised as part of the event. Around 235 exhibitors displayed their products in Plexpo India 2004 and the number of visitors was over 20,000.
In 2007, the number of exhibitors was around 300 including 12 foreign companies and number of visitors was as high as 30,000.
