Power Finance Corporation (PFC) today reported a 22% increase in net profit at Rs 1,208.679 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 when compared with Rs 986.138 crore in FY07.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 5,039.923 crore from Rs 3,927.651 crore in FY07.The company posted a net profit of Rs 297.321 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 when compared with Rs 371.225 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total income increased from Rs 1,238.271 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 1,366.738 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.
