Praj Industries today said its standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 rose by 31.94% to Rs 13.67 crore over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 10.36 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010 Praj Industries said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Total standalone sales of the company for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 rose to Rs 164.71 crore from Rs 93.67 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.
Shareholders of the company have approved a dividend of 63% (Rs 1.26 per share of face value of Rs 2 each), Praj Industries said.
During the quarter the company received a order of Rs 93 crore from Columbian Petroleum Company for Rs 93 crore, it added.
Shares of Praj Industries today closed at Rs 90.50 on the BSE, down 3.36% from its previous close.
