FMCG major Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Health Care today reported a growth of 58.51 per cent in its net profit at Rs 74 crore for second quarter ended December 31, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 280 crore for the quarter ended December 31, from Rs 233 crore in the same period last year, Procter & Gamble said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
"We are pleased that our company's health care and feminine hygiene business continue on the double-digit growth wave at a solid 22 per cent in the second quarter," Procter & Gamble Managing Director Shantanu Khosla said.
