Provogue (India) today reported a 54.55 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 3.79 crore for the quarter ended March 2010.
However, total income rose to Rs 162.98 crore in the January-March quarter from Rs 79 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, Provogue (India) said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company's board of directors has proposed a dividend of Rs 0.2 per equity share on the face value of Rs 2 each to the shareholders.
For the year ended March 2010, the company had a consolidated net profit of Rs 20.98 crore, down 64.56 per cent from Rs 59.2 crore in the same period a year earlier.
