Punj Lloyd has bagged a Rs 302 crore Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan (RIDCOR) project for integrated improvement cum performance-based maintenance of Lalsot to Kota Road in Rajasthan (IJ-1).According to an official release issued to the BSE today, the project involves widening of a 195 km stretch of existing road to two lanes with a total width of 10.5 metres including hard shoulders. While the improvement works are expected to be completed within 21 months from the start date, maintenance will take another 60 months after the improvement work completion date."We are already executing three other RIDCOR projects valued at Rs 593 crore. With this project, Punj Lloyd has to its credit four highway projects in Rajasthan. This reiterates the confidence of our clients in our competencies," Atul Punj, chairman & MD of Punj Lloyd, said. The company has also bagged a $25.5 million (about Rs 117 crore) order from Helios Terminal Corporation, Singapore for procurement and construction of storage tanks and other works for the 'Bulk Liquid Storage and Blending Facility, at Jurong Island, Singapore, the release said.
