Engineering construction major Punj Lloyd has bagged an order worth Rs 164.24 crore from state-run gas firm GAIL for the Dabhol - Panvel Pipeline Project (DPPL).The order, to be executed on EPC basis (engineering procurement and construction), entails residual engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of the pipeline system from GAIL's station, Punj Lloyd informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.The company would carry out installation at Panvel to Dabhol terminal including terminal work, temporary and permanent cathodic protection system and all associated mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation work, it added.The project, which is to be completed within 10 and half months, involves the laying of the 30 inch diameter pipeline of 113 km length from Panvel to upstream of Savitri river crossing and a length of 74 km from upstream of Savitri river crossing to Dabhol terminal.
