South-based realty, Puravankara Projects opened at Rs 310, adiscount of 22.5% to the offer price of Rs 400 a share on theNational Stock Exchange (NSE). The scrip touched an intra-day highof Rs 390, within minutes of getting listed. A total of over20 lakh shares changed hands at the NSE.At 1030 hrs, the scrip was trading at Rs 385 on the exchange.The real estate major had come out with an initial public offer of2.15 crore shares, intially priced in a band of Rs 500 to Rs 525 ashare. However, in the light of market volatility, the issue had to bere-priced in a band of Rs 400 to Rs 450 a share and the issue closing date was extended by 5 days to August 8.Overall the issue was subscribed by 1.91 times.
