Quintegra Solutions, Calsoft quarterly results

Software solutions and services provider Quintegra Solutions has posted a profit after tax jump of 236 per cent for the quarter ended June 30, at Rs 4.71 crore as against Rs 1.40 crore in the same period of the previous year. Net sales income during the quarter on a standalone basis stood at Rs 20.26 crore, increasing 53.48 per cent from Rs 13.20 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Year-on-year net profit, on a standalone basis, as a percentage to sales increased from 11 per cent to 23 per cent as compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
 
Calsoft PAT rises 214 %
 
Continuing its growth momentum and witnessing robust growth in its enterprise solutions business, California Software Company Limited (Calsoft), saw a 214 per cent increase in profit after tax at Rs 2.18 crore for the period ended June 30. This was from Rs 70 lakh posted in the first quarter of the previous fiscal. Calsoft's chief financial officer K N Nayak added that measures taken during the previous two quarters in terms of acquisitions, rationalisation of subsidiaries and enhanced sales share from the European operations during the quarter had contributed to the improved bottomline. Total consolidated revenues in the first quarter ended June 30 were Rs 53.95 crore, reflecting 49 per cent growth over Rs 36.24 crore posted in the same quarter of the previous year. Calsoft's enterprise solutions business logged in at Rs 36.36 crore, growing at a robust pace of 61 per cent over Rs 22.55 crore posted in the previous comparable quarter. The technology solutions segment increased its revenues 50 per cent while commodity solutions showed 4 per cent growth.
 
The enterprise solutions emerged as Calsoft's fastest growing business segment, contributing 67 per cent of the topline in the first quarter, up from 62 per cent in the same quarter of the previous year. Consolidated basic EPS for the quarter increased to Rs 2.41, an improvement of 90 per cent over Rs 1.27 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's EPS at the close of fiscal 2007 was Rs 10.29.
