Anil Ambani today said Reliance Capital will invest Rs 2,000 crore in its insurance business over the next three to five years.
Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of Reliance Capital, company's Chairman Anil Ambani said that it would invest Rs 2,000 crore in its insurance business, taking the cumulative investment to Rs 4,000 crore over the next 3-5 years.
The company's employee base would also be ramped up to about one lakh from 30,000 at present, he said.
While, consumer base of the company is expected to increase to 50 million from 14 million in the next 3-5 years.
