Information technology company R Systems International posted a 44.09 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 4.64 crore for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, as against Rs 3.22 crore for the June quarter in 2007, R Systems said in a filing to the BSE.
Total revenue of the company rose to Rs 90.56 crore in the latest quarter, from Rs 58.93 crore a year-ago.
"We had a good quarter with revenues recording a growth of 54 per cent year-on-year to cross Rs 90 crore and EBIDTA increasing to Rs 11 crore with YoY growth of 147 per cent and QoQ growth of 13 per cent," Rekhi Singh, CMD, R Systems International said. However, corporate clients are exercising caution in undertaking new initiatives because of bad economic news, which means we are entering a challenging period, Singh added.
