Radico Khaitan, the second largest liquor manufacturer in India and the only company after UB Group to have three millionaire brands in its portfolio, achieved another milestone by crossing the 10 million case sale mark in the last fiscal.The company, which has targeted 25% growth in turnover and 30-35% growth in profit during the current fiscal, recorded a 58% jump in sales during 2004-05 to over 10 million cases as against sales of 6.34 million cases in the previous year.Radico added its third brand, Old Admiral brandy, to the coveted millionaire club by selling 1.40 million cases in the last fiscal - a growth of 100%.The company already has two millionaire brands, 8 pm whisky and Contessa rum, which further consolidated their position in the market with sales going up to 3.26 million and 2.73 million cases, respectively."Reaching a milestone sales figure of 10 million cases is testimony to our efforts to provide Indian consumers with quality products with the best possible pricing. Going ahead, we would further enlarge our brand portfolio and be present in all segments at every price point," Abhishek Khaitan, MD of Radico Khaitan, said today.Radico is aiming at adding its recently acquired brand Whytehall into the millionaire club in the current fiscal.
