Bangalore-based Rajesh Exports has bagged gold jewellery order worth Rs 743 crore from Gold Star Jewellery, Singapore. According to Rajesh Mehta, chairman, Rajesh Exports, "the order is for a range of designer jewellery developed by the company. The order is to be completed by January 30, 2008. Execution of the order will significantly add to the bottom line of the company." "The demand for Indian-made designer jewellery is witnessing a consistent growth pattern in the global market. The flow of orders and the increase in the size of orders reflect the kind of commitment and strength of the R&D team of the company,"he added.
