The petition filed by Nandini Raju, wife of Satyam Computer Services’ jailed founder, B Ramalinga Raju, seeking the court’s permission for her to bear his medical treatment expenses, has been posted for tomorrow.
In her petition, she said Raju should be treated for Hepatitis-C without delay, as his health is deteriorating.
The CBI had earlier said Raju should be treated for the chronic ailment in the jail, under the supervision of hospital authorities. Later, it said it would go by what the doctors said. Ajit Kumar, head of the gastroenterology department at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (Nims), told the court that Raju needed to be an in-patient for four to eight weeks for treatment.
