Randstad has rolled out Randstad Inhouse Services (RIS) for its Indian clients. The services include specific company-related measures like improving workforce flexibility, retention and productivity.
“This service is aimed at organisations that are great followers of process and process-driven change. We will be covering any organisation whose interest lies in improving efficiency with a certain desired impact on the bottom line,” said E Balaji, managing director and chief executive officer of the company.
He said the service would be available for corporates across sectors, but it would be of special focus for companies in the logistics and manufacturing/engineering sectors. The service is already in the implementation stage in few companies.
He said markets had evolved to a regular temporary staffing model and clients were looking forward to a more intense engagement with their service providers, especially those who partnered in improving their business bottom line in the long run. Service providers would work onsite, exclusively for each client, and implement processes specific to requirements, improving workforce flexibility, retention, productivity and efficiency.
RIS offers an account team for each client to work with the latter’s management team to support their strategies and goals. A customised and targeted recruiting and selection process designed for the client is also available. A talent pool is designed and built with the client’s business objectives in mind. Cost savings and quality improvement programmes are customised according to the client’s business and human resource strategy.
The firm is of the view that this programme would be able to reduce attrition, help deployment of electronic tools and reports, reduce absenteeism, reduce client time in handling flex workforce and simplify administration processes.
