The Range Rover Evoque, priced at Rs 47.1 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) was launched today, less than two months after the Tata Motors-owned company launched the Freelander 2 Sterling Edition in September.
Due to the robust success of the original Evoque, designers at Land Rover decided against any significant changes to the new model. What it gets is a mildly reshaped front and rear bumpers, changed grille, LED headlamps and new alloy wheel designs.

On the inside, the new Evoque gets new seats and altered dashboard and doors. The vehicle also has an 8-inch InControl touchscreen.
Available only in a diesel engine version, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque is driven by an automatic gearbox with a 4 cylinder, 2.2 litre engine delivering 140kw power that generates a maximum speed of 195 kmph.
Overseas, however, the Evoque gets the new 2 litre Ingenium engine. This new engine belongs to Jaguar Land Rover's own family of engines as against the Ford purchased ones that were seen in the earlier Evoque.
