Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCFL) today reported 12% dip in its net profit at Rs 68.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 77.78 crore in the year-ago period.
The total income of the company also declined by 5% to Rs 1,533.55 crore during the third quarter of 2010-11 fiscal as against Rs 1,606.58 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The state-owned firm has two manufacturing units located at Trombay and Thal and it manufactures urea and complex fertilisers along with a wide-range of industrial chemicals.
