Ahmedabad-based Ratnakar group of companies is planning to reach its target of 10 exclusive jewellery stores in Gujarat and Maharashtra in the next two years.
The group, which has its operation across India, UK, USA and Middle East, plans to open retail stores for its alternate line of jewellery across cities like Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
"We are aiming at giving a new dimension and meaning to imitation jewellery. I think this line actually gives an opportunity to the Indian women to wear jewellery and travel places fearlessly. We already have two stores in Ahmedabad and are planning to open eight more in cities like Surat, Baroda and Mumbai in the next two years," Ratna Shah, renowned jewellery designer and founder of Ratnakar, said at the launch of the company's second showroom in Ahmedabad.
Ratnakar manufactures jewellery in polki, kundan, victorian, American diamond, fashion, tribal and beach jewellery.Ratnakar is a diversified group expanding into several different business ventures such as garments, capital markets and pharmacy.
