Ratnamani Metals and Tubes Limited (RMTL) has reported an increase of 26.72 per cent in its profit after tax (PAT) for the second quarter ended on 30 September, 2011. The company's PAT which stood at Rs 23.47 crore as against Rs 18.52 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The company’s net sales from operations increased by 75.45 per cent in the second quarter of the current financial year to reach Rs 308.82 crores while it was Rs 176.01 in the first quarter of previous financial year. Earnings per share (EPS) of the company has also increased by 30.92 per cent and has reached to Rs 10.88 for the first half year of the current financial year as compared to Rs 8.31 in the corresponding half year of the previous financial year.
