Raymond Q2 net dips 38% at Rs 50 cr

Textile firm Raymond today said its net profit declined by 37.91% to Rs 50.26 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012, over the same period of previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 80.96 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Raymond Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.

During the second quarter, total income of the company from operations stood at Rs 1,115.07 crore, as against Rs 981.76 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.

Shares of Raymond today closed at Rs 378.20 on the BSE, down 1.25% from its previous close.
