Reliance Communications today said that it is offering to sell Apple's iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C in two monthly installment plans, with no downpayment.
The two plans that the dual-technology operator announced, consumers can buy the new model of Apple phones with installments for 24 months, include the handset cost, unlimited local and STD calls, SMS, national roaming and 3G data.
The monthly installment for iPhone 5c is Rs 2,599 per month for the and Rs 2,999 per month for the iPhone 5s. The plans would make their subscribers bill-free. “Apple iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s customers will not receive any usage bill for 24 months, as the monthly payments include all usage charges. Only international calls and international roaming charges will have to be paid for,” the company said, in a press release.
Only two operators—Bharti Airtel and RCom are launching the phones in India. The retail price of the phones is at Rs 53,500 for iPhone 5s and Rs 41,900 for iPhone 5c.

The offers and the phones are available for sales in all the thirteen circles where Reliance Communications offers 3G services. It includes Delhi and Mumbai, Kolkata and Punjab, amongst others.
“Additionally, the Company has launched special facilities for Corporate users of Apple products who would like to migrate to the Reliance network through MNP, with their requests being fast-processed,” RCom said.
