Reebok to hold aerobic instructor course

Reebok India Company is looking at getting the brand endorsed by hockey players.
 
Parmindar Datt, manager (sports marketing), Reebok India Company said that there was a proposal before the company and it was under study.
 
Reebok, which clocked turnover of Rs 170 crore last year, was eyeing 50 per cent growth.
 
The brand enjoyed a market share of 47 per cent with footwear contributing 55 per cent and apparel contributing 45 per cent share in profits.
 
Reebok announced its partnership with Solace studio in Kolkata to hold its first aerobic instructor certification course.
 
Under the contours of the deal, Reebok would bring its technology, knowledge and expertise to the table while, Solace would provide the infrastructure.
 
Yashodhara Khaitan, director of Solace, said, "We believe that Reebok with its legacy of imparting training in the fitness arena will help us provide to the people of Kolkata a comprehensive fitness programme."
 
The course fee for the five weekend certification course spanning over 16 hours each was Rs 22,000, inclusive of total reading material along with manual and music CDs.
