Reliance Energy Generation (REGL), an ADAE Group company is planning to invite bids for its 5600 MW combined cycle power plant (4 Streams of 1400 MW each) which is proposed to be developed at Dhirubhai Ambani Energy City (DAEC), Dadri in Gaziabad, UP.According to a release issued by Reliance Energy to the BSE today, the 5600 MW Dadri power project will be the world's largest combined cycle power project.The company is now set to invite bids nationally as well as internationally for selecting the equipment supplier for the project on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis through international competitive bidding (ICB) and the advertisement will be released in this week, the release added.After the completion and commissioning of the project, it will supply power to UP, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, the release added.
