A Reliance Energy consortium that had teamed up with US-based Worldwide Flight Services, has lost the bid to set up ground handling facilities at the upcoming Bangalore International Airport at Devanahally on the city outskirts.Bangalore International Airport (BIAL) has short-listed two consortia - Air India/Singapore Airport Terminal Services, and Globe Ground India, which is a joint venture between Lufthansa and Bird Group."We have short-listed these two consortia," Albert Brunner, CEO of BIAL, said here today.
