RInfra-AAP suit adjourned till Monday

RInfra has filed a Rs 100 cr defamation suit against AAP that alleged corruption and tariff inflation

The Bombay High Court today adjourned the defamation case filed by Reliance Infrastructure against Aam Aadmi Party. After intial hearings, the court said that this case will be heard on March 10, on Monday.

RInfra filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against the political party after the latter alleged of corruption and tariff inflation by the company in its electricity distribution business, in Mumbai.

AAP said that RInfra has been buying expensive power and supplying it to the city suburbs.

RInfra claims that the AAP's allegations are not backed by facts. They filed a case on AAP after the latter did not remove its allegations from the party website.
