 "RP-Sanjiv Goenka group signs MoU to set food processing unit in Telangana")
Kolkata-based RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group has signed an MoU with Telangana government to set up a food processing unit at an investment of Rs 200 crore in a 20-acre plot near Hyderabad city.
The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of state IT and industries minister K T Rama Rao at Kolkata today.
The group chairman Sanjiv Goenka has also promised to provide market linkages to enable farmers to sell their produce at market prices locally, according to the minister.
Rao held a meeting with top industrialists in Kolkata inviting them to explore investment opportunities in Telangana.
