Russian Airlines begins Amritsar to Moscow flight

Rajasansi Airport in Amritsar, which recently attained the status of international airport, has now one more destination as Russian airline Transaero has launched its direct flight to Moscow from Amritsar.

"There will be two weekly flights," the public relations officer of the airline, Sergei Bykhal, told reporters here yesterday.

About the flight schedule, he said it would depart from Moscow at 18.30 hours to reach Amritsar at 01.20 on Tuesday and depart from Amritsar at 04.20 hours to arrive at Moscow at 10.15, he added.

On Thursday the flight would depart from Moscow at 15.30 hours to arrive at Amritsar at 04.20 hours (the route is longer in this case), and leave Amritsar at 06.20 hours to reach Moscow at 12.30 hours.
