SAAG RR Infra Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has received a letter of award from Garisan Etika Bangladesh Ltd wherein SAAG RR has been selected as the nominated subcontractor for civil, preliminaries and mobilization work for the Cycle Power Plant at Adamjee Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh.
The parent company of SAAG RR had in December 2009 secured the contract for design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning reliability run and completion of 6x6 MW DG power plant and 2x36 MW combined Cycle Power Plant. The sub-contract will be governed by the terms of the main Contract with SAAG.
The board scope of work of SAAG RR includes preliminaries & mobilization, soil testing, civil design and civil works at site. The contract value is about $9.4 million (approximately Rs 42 crore). The work is expected to commence on January 18, 2011 and the contract period is for 15 months from commencement date.
