Saint-Gobain Gyproc, the building solution division of Saint-Gobain, has set a target to double its turnover to Rs 600 crore in the next two years on the back of new products.
Speaking to reporters, John Nelson, global marketing manager, Saint-Gobain Gyproc, UK, said currently the company was marketing gypsum-based boards and “would like to move from plain gypsum to high-end products.” In the next one year, the company is planning to launch products meant for fire, acoustics and dry walls. On Wednesday, it launched two new products.
The market size for gypsum-based board is around 25 million sq mt, of which the company’s share is 80 per cent.
